VoidGlass Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how VoidGlass ("we," "our," or the "Application") handles information when you use our mobile application. VoidGlass is designed with a privacy-first approach, emphasizing local processing and minimizing the collection of personal information by the application itself.

1. Introduction

VoidGlass is a web browser and download manager. We are committed to handling information transparently and limiting the information we collect and retain.

This Privacy Policy explains the information processed by VoidGlass, how it is used, what information may be shared with third-party services required for specific features, and how information stored by the Application is retained.

This policy does not govern the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that you choose to access through VoidGlass. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

2. Information VoidGlass Processes

To provide browsing, downloading, analysis, and other application functionality, VoidGlass processes certain information.

Much of this information is processed or stored locally on your device. VoidGlass does not operate a developer-controlled backend for collecting or maintaining a user-data profile.

Depending on the features you use, this may include:

3. Browsing and Web Content

VoidGlass is a web browser. You choose which websites to visit and which content to access.

When you visit a website, the browser necessarily exchanges network information with that website so that the requested content can be delivered. The website may receive information such as your IP address, User-Agent, cookies, and other information associated with a normal web request.

Websites you visit may independently use cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, or other mechanisms. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.

VoidGlass does not operate a separate system for collecting or profiling the personal information that websites may collect about you.

VoidGlass does not maintain a persistent, centralized browsing-history database of every website you visit. Certain URL and session information may nevertheless be stored locally when required for browser functionality, such as restoring the current session.

4. Local Storage

VoidGlass stores certain information locally on your device to provide application functionality and maintain your preferences.

Depending on the features you use, locally stored information may include:

This information is stored locally rather than in a developer-operated VoidGlass user-data server.

5. Downloads

When you initiate a download, VoidGlass sends the necessary request to the remote source to retrieve the requested content.

The remote source server necessarily receives standard network information associated with that request, which may include your IP address, User-Agent, and other information normally transmitted by an HTTP request.

Downloaded files and download-related metadata are handled by VoidGlass's local download system and stored on your device.

VoidGlass does not operate a developer-controlled server that receives or stores your download history.

6. Image Analysis

VoidGlass includes Smart Analyzer functionality for categorizing web media.

The current image-analysis processing is performed locally on your device. The analyzer uses information such as image dimensions, URLs, webpage information, and related metadata to categorize media.

Images are not uploaded by Smart Analyzer to a separate remote image-analysis service.

7. Advertising — Google AdMob

VoidGlass uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

As part of providing advertising services, Google and its advertising technology may process information such as:

The information processed and the way advertisements are personalized may depend on your region, applicable privacy requirements, and the consent choices available to you.

Google's handling of information is governed by Google's own policies. You can review Google's Privacy Policy here:

8. Advertising Consent — Google UMP

VoidGlass uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising consent where required by applicable law or regulation.

UMP is used as a consent-management mechanism for advertising-related choices. It is not used by VoidGlass as a separate browsing-history or analytics system.

Your available consent choices may vary depending on your location and applicable requirements.

9. Google Play Billing

VoidGlass offers optional premium features through Google Play.

For example, VoidGlass uses product identifiers corresponding to its available premium products to determine which purchased functionality should be enabled.

Google handles the underlying payment transaction through Google Play.

10. Information VoidGlass Does Not Independently Collect

Based on the current application implementation, VoidGlass does not have systems for independently collecting or maintaining:

This does not mean that no information is ever transmitted when you use VoidGlass. For example, websites you choose to visit, Google advertising services, Google Play Billing, and other third-party services may process information necessary to provide their respective services.

11. Third-Party Services

VoidGlass interacts with third-party services when required to provide particular functionality.

Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. VoidGlass does not control the privacy practices of websites or services that you choose to access.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored locally by VoidGlass generally remains on your device until it is deleted through available application functionality, application data is cleared, or the Application is uninstalled.

Depending on the type of information, available deletion controls may include clearing or deleting relevant settings, searches, download history, collections, or other stored application data.

Because VoidGlass does not operate a developer-controlled backend containing your local browsing or download data, there is no corresponding VoidGlass server-side browsing profile that can be remotely deleted.

Information handled by third-party services, such as Google AdMob, Google Play, or websites you visit, is subject to the respective third party's policies and retention practices.

13. Android Backup

Certain locally stored VoidGlass data may be eligible for inclusion in Android's backup and restore mechanisms.

Whether particular data is backed up or restored depends on Android's backup system, your device, your Android version, and your applicable device or Google account settings.

VoidGlass does not operate Android's backup service.

14. Security

VoidGlass is designed to minimize unnecessary data collection and uses local processing where appropriate.

We rely on standard Android and platform security mechanisms to protect information handled by the Application. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. Children's Privacy

VoidGlass does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a user-account or registration system.

Because VoidGlass does not require user registration, we do not have a mechanism to determine the age of individual users.

If you believe that personal information has been provided to us in a manner that raises a privacy concern, please contact us using the information below.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the application's information-handling practices change or if updates are necessary to reflect applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

When material changes are made, the updated policy will be published with a revised "Last updated" date.
